Attorney In Fact

One who holds a Power of Attorney from another allowing them to execute legal documents such as deeds, mortgages, etc., on behalf of the grantor of the power. Power of Attorney may be limited to a specific act or acts, or it may be a general Power of Attorney. Decisions made by the Attorney in Fact are binding on the principal.
